This role will focus on building scalable enterprise applications, developing cloud-native microservices, improving deployment automation, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery and engineering productivity.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java and AWS cloud servicesBuild and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and modern Java frameworksDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CDImplement automated testing strategies, monitoring, logging, and alerting for production environmentsDesign cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDSSupport containerized application deployments using Docker, ECS, EKS, or KubernetesCollaborate across engineering teams to support end-to-end SDLC workflows and production support activitiesPerform performance tuning, system optimization, and troubleshooting across distributed systemsApply security and compliance best practices throughout the software development lifecycleUtilize AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and code quality improvementsRequired Qualifications 5 years of hands-on Java development experience3 years of experience building solutions on AWSStrong experience developing scalable backend systems and microservices architecturesExperience with Spring Boot and REST API developmentStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and system designExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLabHands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and test automation practicesExperience working with SQL databases and data storage technologiesFamiliarity with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKSExperience with cloud performance optimization, monitoring, and operational supportKnowledge of DevOps principles and modern software engineering best practicesDemonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools within the SDLCPreferred Experience Experience working in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environmentsExposure to application security and compliance-focused engineering practicesExperience supporting high-availability distributed systems in productionWork Environment Hybrid work environment with regular in-office collaboration requirementsOccasional extended hours or travel may be required based on project needsWelcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
