This role will focus on designing, documenting, and optimizing Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) that support critical payer workflows across membership, claims, benefits, and configuration processes.This individual will play a key role in translating complex system workflows and business processes into clear, actionable step-by-step procedures that enable operational teams to resolve issues, maintain compliance, and drive consistent execution.QualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and document comprehensive Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) across claims, benefits, enrollment, and configuration workflowsTranslate business processes and system functionality into clearly defined, step-by-step operational procedures for end usersDevelop DLPs that outline:Standard workflowsException handling processesStep-by-step issue resolution proceduresEnsure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with current Facets system behavior and business rulesPartner with configuration teams to align DLPs with Facets system setup across membership, billing, claims, benefits, provider, and pricing modulesTranslate configuration logic into operational procedures for claims processing, adjustments, and issue resolutionSupport troubleshooting of claims and benefit-related issues tied to configuration gaps or system logicValidate that operational processes reflect accurate claims adjudication workflows and system dependenciesProvide deep subject matter expertise in:Membership including premium billingClaims adjudication workflowsBenefits configuration and plan designProvider payment and reimbursement processesDevelop procedures that help teams:Investigate errorsIdentify configuration issuesExecute corrections and reprocessing stepsEnsure procedures support consistent, complaint claims and benefits operationsCreate DLPs that clearly outline:How to identify root causes of claims or configuration issuesStep-by-step actions to resolve issues within Facets or downstream systemsEscalation paths and cross-team dependenciesPartner with operational and IT teams to analyze recurring issues and improve existing proceduresDrive consistency in how teams diagnose and resolve claims, configuration, and workflow issuesCollaborate with Claims, Enrollment, Provider Configuration, IT, and Operations teams to define and validate processesTranslate complex technical and system concepts into clear, business-friendly documentationSupport training initiatives by providing DLP documentation and operational guidance for end usersContinuously evaluate and enhance DLPs to improve:Operational efficiencyAccuracy and consistencyIssue resolution timelinesStandardized procedures across clients and environments to ensure repeatable, scalable delivery modelsSupport system implementations, conversions, and operational transformations with DLP developmentRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience working within Healthcare Payer operations5+ years of healthcare payer experience (Medicare andMedicaid)5+ years of hands-on experience with Facets (TriZetto), particularly in:Premium billingClaims processingBenefits/Provider configurationOperational workflowsStrong experience developing:Desk Level Procedures (DLPs)SOPs, workflows, or operational documentationDeep understanding of:Eligibility and premium billingClaims adjudication processesBenefits configuration and plan structuresProven ability to:Translate complex processes into clear, step-by-step instructionsTroubleshoot and resolve system/process-related issuesExperience working in a consulting or client-facing environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting:Facets implementations and processingWorkflow configuration or operational assessmentsStrong analytical and documentation skillsFamiliarity with:SQL or claims data analysisTicketing/workflow tools (e.g., JIRA)Experience building training materials or user guidesAI Tools experience with Copilot, ChatGPT, ClaudePosting CategoryHealthcare-PayerOpportunity TypeRegularCountryUnited States of America
