Fleet Mechanic – Ford Trucks & Equipment | Build & Lead Our Fleet Program

About the Role Spotless Chimney Sweeping & Solutions is a fast-growing home service company with an expanding fleet of trucks and equipment. We are looking for a hands-on Fleet Mechanic who can not only maintain and repair vehicles, but also help us build and standardize our fleet maintenance program. This is a key role for someone who wants to take ownership, create systems, and grow with a company. What You’ll Work On Ford fleet vehicles including: Transit vans F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks Box trucks and light-duty commercial vehicles Small equipment and jobsite tools (as needed) What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and inspections Troubleshoot engine, electrical, brake, suspension, and hydraulic issues Keep vehicles road-ready and minimize downtime Track and log repairs, parts, and service schedules Build & Improve Systems: Help develop a fleet maintenance schedule and protocol Create checklists for daily, weekly, and monthly inspections Organize parts inventory and shop workflow Work with management to improve uptime and reduce repair costs Recommend tools, equipment, and process improvements Who This Role Is For Self-starter who doesn’t need to be micromanaged Takes ownership and pride in their work Wants to help build something — not just clock in/out Organized and process-oriented Comfortable working independently and making decisions Requirements 3+ years experience working on fleet or commercial vehicles Strong experience with Ford trucks (Transit, F-Series up to F-550) Experience with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus, not required) Own tools preferred Preferred Experience Fleet maintenance program development Diesel engine experience (Powerstroke a plus) Welding or fabrication experience (a plus) DOT inspection knowledge Why Join Spotless?
