Culinary Care Assistant

Chosen Valley Care Center, Inc - Purpose of this position: The primary purpose of the dietary aide position is to provide assistance in all food functions as directed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.Job Type:Part- time availableEvening position 4pm-8:30pm, with every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.Requirements:Must be able to read menus and understand food items allowed on specific diets.Must be willing to adapt to change.Must be able to push carts and lift up to 30 pounds.Must be able to communicate with kitchen staff and other staff in different departments.Must be able to move intermittently thought entire shift.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties.Assist in serving meals as necessary and in a timely manner.Assist in serving meals within the dining room area.Assist in checking diet trays before distributing.Assist in properly washing dishes using the dishwasher.Carry out garbage and keep work areas clan, dry and free of hazards, supplies, etc.Deliver food carts and trays to the appropriate areas.Return clean dishes and equipment to the appropriate storage areas.Stock and maintain food storage areas.Chosen Valley Care Center, Inc. in Chatfield, MN, is seeking to hire part-time dietary aides to provide food services for residents.
