Position Overview:The Account Executive is a pivotal role responsible for fostering strong relationships with construction clients, overseeing the Project Coordinator position, and driving the successful execution of construction projects in collaboration with the Site Supervisor. This position combines strategic account management with operational oversight to deliver exceptional client satisfaction and identify opportunities for business growth within the construction sector.Probationary Period: This position is subject to a 30-day probationary period. During this time, performance and fit within the organization will be assessed. Employment is at-will, meaning either the employee or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, during or after the probationary period.Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with construction clients. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs and objectives. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Project Oversight: Supervise and guide the Project Coordinator to ensure seamless coordination of project tasks and deliverables. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks proactively.Account Growth and Strategy: Identify opportunities for expanding existing accounts and securing new business within the construction sector. Execute go-to-market strategies aligned with the company’s construction growth goals. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify trends and align client needs with company offerings.Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports on account status, project progress, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders and clients. Maintain clear and consistent communication with all construction stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance client experience.Procurement Support: Assist in procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials and services.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, account management, or construction installations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.Skills:Proven experience in account management, client services, or sales within the retail industry.Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee and guide team members effectively. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to drive account growth and client success.Familiarity with construction industry trends and a strategic mindset to adapt to changing client needs.Preferred Skills:Experience with CRM and project management software.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Track record of meeting or exceeding account growth targets. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be consideredWork Environment:Primarily office-based (or Remote if approved) with occasional site visits to retail locations and project sites.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.May require evening or weekend work depending on project timelines. Compensation and Benefits:Salary: Competitive Base + Performance Bonus – Bonus based on top line and gross margin expectations + Commission opportunity.
