Caring Campus is a collective effort to make students and employees feel welcome and connected to our college by instilling uplifting behaviors such as wearing name tags, warmly connecting students to necessary personnel, and openly engaging with students.Purpose of Position:This is a professional position working closely with high school personnel, community college stakeholders, and business/industry to help secondary students easily transition to postsecondary education and successful career pathways.Core Responsibilities:Advise and engage community college bound high school students and current community college students to support the college's student recruitment and retention efforts.Guide and counsel high school students transitioning to community college.Serve as academic advisor/ onboarding contact for Dual Enrollment students.Serve as academic advisor on campus.Special AssignmentsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned.
