Associate EngineerThe City is looking for its next Associate Engineer, who will play a vital role in supporting the planning, delivery, and oversight of civil engineering and public works projects. This position performs field inspections, maintains project documentation, applies engineering standards and regulations, and works collaboratively to identify and resolve project, operational, and contractual issues. Apply now!What will you do in this position?Maintain accurate project records and documentation in accordance with established records management practices.Identify, evaluate, and resolve operational, procedural, and contractual issues that arise during project delivery.Apply applicable federal and state codes, regulations, AASHTO standards, and WSDOT standards, protocols, specifications, and guidelines to civil engineering and public works projects.Conduct field inspections of public works construction projects to monitor progress, verify compliance with plans and specifications, and identify potential issues or deficiencies.A successful candidate in this position will:Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally across a variety of settings.Build and maintain collaborative relationships across departments and disciplines.Quickly identify challenges and apply logical, evidence-based approaches to resolve them.Collaborate across teams to uphold quality and pursue continuous improvement.Uphold high standards of service in support of organizational and community goals.Why Bothell?
