Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accounting Clerk, located in Selkirk, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks, including handling bookkeeping duties, recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, assisting with payroll, and maintaining organized records. The role also involves utilizing accounting software to support financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting, Finance, and Bookkeeping to manage financial records and transactions accurately.Experience using Accounting Software for data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting tasks.Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements efficiently and accurately.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with budgeting processes.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.Prior experience in accounting or a related field; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices, particularly in construction or contracting, is advantageous but not required.
