Digital Press Operator
This role focuses on operating and optimizing digital press equipment to support high-quality, efficient production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while supporting operational efficiency and workflow continuity.The position spans the full production lifecycle—from machine setup and operation to quality checks, troubleshooting, reporting, and coordination with team members. You will collaborate with team leads and production staff to maintain smooth operations, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality output for clients.Key Responsibilities:Set up digital press and production equipment according to job specifications and instructionsOperate machines at optimal speed to meet production targets and efficiency standardsPerform adjustments and recalibrations to ensure consistent performance and productivityLoad materials and components onto machines based on job requirementsConduct regular quality checks on components and finished products to ensure standards are metMonitor machine performance and identify issues related to speed, quality, or functionalityCommunicate job status, production updates, and issues during shift transitionsReport component or production quality concerns to Team Lead and assist in resolving issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all workplace safety procedures and operational guidelinesTrack and report production KPIs and performance metricsPerform routine maintenance and support overall equipment upkeepAssist with additional production tasks as needed to support team successBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 6 months of experience as a digital press or inserter operator OR 2+ years of experience in production equipment operationExperience working with computer-controlled or software-driven mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret job instructions and production documentationBasic knowledge of mechanical systems and production processesAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong attention to detail and quality controlAbility to monitor equipment performance and maintain production efficiencyGood communication and coordination skillsAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 45 pounds intermittentlyPreferred Qualifications:Experience in printing, mailing, or direct marketing production environmentsFamiliarity with postal guidelines and sorted mail processesExperience with digital press or automated inserting equipmentBasic troubleshooting and maintenance experience for production machineryAbility to work flexible shifts and adapt to production demands
