Structural Engineer

Job Description Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Engineer for a partnering firm in Buffalo, New York. This role will focus on structural design and engineering for higher education, municipal, health care, large commercial, residential and other unique projects. Job DetailsPerform structural calculations for client review and permitting.Create designs of new and existing StructuresConduct Field investigationsCoordinate with other engineers and architects.Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final Construction Documents.Utilize knowledge of building codes and construction process RequiredBS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures3 plus years' experience engineering and designing. Experience should include Steel, concrete and masonry design codes, basic wood design knowledge.Experienced in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildingsAutoCAD and Revit proficiencyRisa structural calculation experience Preferred:Master's degree in civil engineeringRAM Structural SystemEIT or PECompensation: $65,000-$100,000 based on experience and certifications Schedule Monday-Friday / 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
