This role works closely with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and project teams to provide timely financial insights that support sound business decisions.What You’ll DoLead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesAnalyze financial results and investigate variances versus budget and prior periodsReview journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper classificationPrepare and review complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesMaintain oversight of capital purchases and capitalization activityReview production variances and partner with operations to explain key driversMonitor project-related financial activity, including cost accumulation and budget-to-actual analysisServe as a point of contact for internal and external auditorsIdentify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and efficiencyAssist with system enhancements, testing, and implementationProvide guidance and informal mentoring to other accounting team membersAssist with budgeting and forecasting activitiesRequirementsWhat You’ll BringMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityDemonstrated reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitmentsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturingCPA or CMA designationExperience with long-term contract accounting and job costingExperience with multi-site manufacturing operationsWhy This Role MattersThe Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of ENTEK’s financial records.
