Senior Java Developer / Lead EngineerHybrid – 2 days a week (O’Fallon, MO)Note: Final round will be in-person Java enterprise development with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate with unit testing or even 'test first' experienceSoftware design experience, mostly in regard to troubleshooting scaling/performance issuesHaving some design pattern knowledge would be helpfulKnowledgeable in multi-threading--Java specific is a bonusKnowledgeable with relational queries in regard to searching specific indices at once and paginationAn understanding of scalable distributed systems based on both micro-services and Kafka communicationAn understanding of Kafka client filtering for high throughput streams is a bonusExperience with BDD Cucumber regression testing is a bonus (though it's fairly easy to learn)Native JDBC experience would be a good bonus
