Unarmed Security Guard

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any security breaches or safety hazards. Assist in the enforcement of rules and regulations to maintain order on the property. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and gather evidence when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries professionally. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing information and support during investigations. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports. Skills Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Experience in loss prevention strategies is a plus. Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV operation is essential. Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying suspicious behavior or potential threats. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
