SQL/PL/SQL Developer

Immediate need for a talented SQL/PL/SQL Developer. This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC(Htbrid). Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including: PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers Tables, views, indexes, and materialized views Performance tuning and query optimization Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues. Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans. Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities. Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards. Communication & Leadership Responsibilities Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews. Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management. Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule. Document solutions thoroughly and maintain high-quality technical documentation. Participate in client meetings and confidently present technical recommendations. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills;Primary Skill: PL/SQL Secondary Skill: ETL Tertiary Skill: SQL Oracle Database (12c/19c or later) Advanced PL/SQL development SQL performance tuning Data modeling and database design Version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications Required Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills Ability to gather and clarify complex requirements Experience leading technical discussions and working sessions Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business users Strong documentation and analytical skills Preferred Characteristics Proactive problem solver Detail-oriented and highly organized Customer-focused mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
