IT Technician

Our IT team is expanding and looking to add an IT Technician. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.Duties IT Technician will be responsible for all computers/laptops setup, maintenance and support issues for Minth Tennessee International. Evaluates and resolves user problems as first point of contact; identifies and obtains appropriate resources for the resolution of complex problems; corrects routine hardware problems by making minor repairs to computer equipment, studies trends and makes long-term/major recommendations for the future. Other duties include:Instructs computer system users in the use of computer equipment and applications; answers questions and assists in resolving problems with application use (MS office suite, Lync, PloyComm)Facilitates setup of new hardware/software; installs, tests, and monitors the operation of computer hardware and software; configures hardware and software to meet user's needsBasic LANs/WANs knowledgeMaintains various records, procedures and documentation for computer systems and software including asset management tracking and inventory of all company hardwareAssists in the maintenance and installation of telephony, data, and video cabling throughout the corporate facilitiesOccasionally serves as the primary contact for response to emergency situations or critical problems with the technology or facilities, including events that occur during off-hours, 24/7 support (on-call rotation)Conducts periodic check-ins and establishes strong working relationships with office associates To be a qualified candidate you must have the following: 2-year degree or applicable IT/IS CertificationOutstanding attitude with a strong emphasis on customer serviceProficient in Apple OSX & Windows Operating Systems, installation, maintenance, upgrading and troubleshootingAbility to communicate to end users with varying levels of understanding of computer systems and softwareKey To Being Successful In This RoleSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and organizedHigh degree of ownership and quality of workmanshipAble to prioritize tasks independently without direct supervision, while still meeting deadlinesFlexible and adaptable to the company’s changing needs in a high-stress environmentWhy work for Minth?
