This Internship will combine coaching, site supervising, office operations, and social media takeovers. Coaches serve our kids and families by providing a safe and fun experience on the field. This is a part-time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.Lead Coach responsibilities include, but not limited to:Serve as direct contact with the kids and families to assure that they are having a safe and fun experienceRuns practice for groups as small as 10 kids and groups as large as 30+ kids.Plan practice drills using provided resources and curriculumUnderstand & lead both kids and other coaches through program drills in a FUN and engaging wayConsistently move on from one drill to the next as to keep the players engaged, and identify places where volunteers can fill in to prevent downtimeLead pre-game and post-game huddles that emphasize sportsmanship and mindfulnessKnow and lead field set up and clean up each weekProvide guidance to volunteers if there are questions about drills/ rolesProvide support to volunteers if any issues arise with parents, players or venuesJump in as admin support if neededReport any player, parent, ref, coach issues to site leadMust-Haves1 year of coaching or teachingAttend mandatory staff trainingWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.Job Questions:Are you available to work evenings between 3 - 6 pm and some weekends?What sport(s) have you coached?Are you CPR/AED certified?Are you authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Volo?
