Focus includes ongoing sustainment and enhancement of existing functionality as well as the development of new features based on a product roadmap. What You'll Do:Supports TWDC's Global Intranet MyDisneyToday. The analyst will work with teams from across Enterprise Technology, and other business units to provide both requirements and development/operational support as required. As part of the MyDisneyToday the analyst will have the opportunity to be a supporting product owner, feeding into the overall vision, roadmap, requirements and features for a given solution.This position requires deep technical and product understanding of the MDT platform as the analyst will be assisting in writing stories, requirements and acceptance criteria as well as helping with QA. Additionally, the analyst will help partners with microsite/page building and technical support as it arises.This position requires strong account management skills and the ability to connect with and lead a wide variety of project constituents. It also requires strong business analysis skills and the ability to learn new businesses quickly. A deep understanding of digital media development/operations is essential. This role will plan, execute, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to transition through many different tasks and topics in a given day.Work collaboratively with team colleagues and partnersEngage proactively with partners (Internal Communications, HR leads, COEs, etc.) to understand their business, their digital media needs, and identify/recommend paths forwardDefine project scope, goals, deliverables and success criteria that support the business prioritiesCreate detailed requirements documentation, including written specifications, use cases, and data flow diagrams; ensure all parties understand their deliverablesCreate and maintain thorough project, product and customer documentationCommunicate effectively with UI/UX designers, developers, and QA staffAssist with development, testing and weekly deploymentsAid in driving project delivery through effective use of issue and status meetings, work sessions and collaborative influenceIdentify risks and roadblocks, and manage effectivelyWork to continually improve partner and employee satisfaction with their digital experiencesRequired Qualifications & Skills:5 years of project/program management and business analysis experience5 years of experience managing larger, more complex and cross-functional projectsPrevious digital media development experienceStrong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skillsProven success in leading projects from concept through launch and transitioning to operational phaseDemonstrated ability to manage project, departmental and enterprise risks related to projectsStrong facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skillsSuccessful history of customer contact including experience in setting and managing customer expectationsAbility to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization including with technical and non-technical people and internal and external audiencesStrong knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development and design processesExperienced in producing thorough, detailed project documentationSelf-starter with high level of initiative; strong sense of ownership and urgencyAbility to identify functional gaps and potential usability issues throughout different phases of product developmentExperience in a complex, large-company environmentPreferred Qualifications: Experience in user experience/user interface/usability design, requirements, quality assuranceExperience with the Agile development processExperience with enterprise technology service design and managementExperience with web analytics toolsExperience with web content management systemsFamiliarity with information architecture/designRequired Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experienceDISNEYTECHThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $97,500 - $130,700 per year and in Orlando, FL is $92,800 - $124,500 per year and in Seattle is $105,800 - $137,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
