Within Daronmont, the Communication, Surveillance and Information Group (CSI) specialises in the design and development of cutting-edge electronics and software-intensive systems, including various radar and electronic warfare products.Electronics Engineer will be able to contribute to the full life cycle of advanced military RF systems, includingDesign and testing of digital and RF electronicsDevelopment of digital signal processing algorithms for electromagnetic spectrum surveillance, passive radar and digital communications using classical and machine learning methodologiesAdvanced antenna array design and prototypingEmbedded Software DevelopmentSupport field trialsCollaboration with Australian and foreign Defence partnersThe engineer will work in a small team of electronics, software and systems engineers, will have numerous opportunities for formal professional development and informal learning, and will be expected to support and mentor junior engineers.
