At our Tigard Recovery Center, our Site Support Specialists are the backbone of clinical operationsensuring patients receive timely, respectful, and well-coordinated access to care.About the Role: The Site Support Specialist plays a critical front-line role in welcoming patients, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and supporting overall clinic operations. From admitting new patients to verifying insurance and maintaining records, you will help create a therapeutic, efficient, and patient-centered environment. If you're detail-oriented, compassionate, and great at juggling tasks, this role is for you.What You'll Do:Admit new patients into Residential Programs, guide them through intake paperwork, process releases of information, search belongings, verify insurance, and provide warm hand-offs to clinical staffCoordinate patient intake scheduling with the admissions team and assist patients with Oregon Health Plan reactivationVerify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and confirm benefit eligibilitySupport patient needs by managing and distributing Food Stamp cards in collaboration with OHA DHS Self Sufficiency representativesMaintain accurate and timely patient files, prepare closed charts for records, and ensure HIPAA complianceGreet and assist patients, guests, and callers with professionalism and empathyOpen and close the admit building, maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environmentParticipate in team meetings and ongoing trainingsUse CODA's electronic health record (EHR) system to input and manage patient dataProvide short-term coverage for other support roles as neededQualificationsWhat You Will Bring:Preferred: High school diploma or GEDPreferred: Training or experience in administrative support, medical office operations, or practice managementPreferred: 2 years of relevant customer service experience in a nonprofit, medical, or recovery-based settingExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independentlyCompassionate communication and de-escalation skills, especially with individuals navigating trauma or recoveryAbility to maintain strict professional boundaries and confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health recordsAwareness of clinical environments and ability to recognize and respond to situations that could pose safety or ethical concerns
