Maintenance Planner

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support our food manufacturing operations in Baltimore. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability and efficiency. While prior maintenance experience is helpful, it is not required—however, strong experience with SAP is essential for success in this role!Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain weekly and long-term maintenance schedules for plant equipment and facilitiesUse SAP to plan, track, and manage maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance (PM), and inventoryCoordinate with maintenance, production, and operations teams to prioritize and schedule work with minimal disruptionEnsure all required parts, tools, and resources are available prior to scheduled workMaintain accurate maintenance records, asset histories, and documentation in SAPAnalyze equipment downtime and maintenance data to improve planning and reliabilitySupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, safety, and cost reductionAssist in managing spare parts inventory and vendor coordinationSAP experience required (Plant Maintenance module strongly preferred)Strong organizational, planning, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments is a plusMaintenance or technical background is helpful but not requiredPreferred Skills:Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance conceptsUnderstanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work cross-functionally with production and maintenance teamsTalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
