Front Office Receptionist

Job Description Power Health Colorado is seeking a motivated, organized, and patient-focused bilingual Front Office Receptionist to join our growing team. This role is much more than answering phones and checking patients in. We are looking for someone who can think critically, communicate professionally, help coordinate patient care, and support the overall patient experience from start to finish.Spanish speaking is required for this position.This role plays a critical part in the daily operations of the clinic and serves as one of the first impressions for our patients, referral partners, attorneys, employers, and payers.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors in a professional, welcoming, and solutions-focused mannerAnswer incoming calls promptly and professionally in both English and SpanishSchedule and confirm appointments while ensuring patients leave with all future appointments arrangedVerify patient demographics, insurance information, authorizations, and required documentationAssist with patient intake, registration, and collection of necessary paperworkCoordinate incoming and outgoing referrals with providers, imaging centers, specialists, attorneys, and payersAssist with case management responsibilities by tracking pending referrals, authorizations, follow-ups, and gaps in careCommunicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, referral updates, and care coordination needsMonitor provider schedules and help optimize clinic flow throughout the dayMaintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record systemIdentify and escalate patient concerns, operational issues, or scheduling barriers proactivelyAssist with obtaining medical records, imaging reports, and supporting documentationSupport front office operations including scanning, faxing, emailing, chart preparation, and administrative tasksHelp maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environmentDeliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience at every interactionAssist leadership and clinical teams with operational support as neededQualificationsFluent in both English and Spanish (required)Previous medical front office, healthcare administration, or customer service experience preferredExperience with personal injury, workers’ compensation, referrals, or case management is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailSolutions-focused mindset with strong critical thinking abilitiesComfortable working with electronic medical record systems and multiple software platformsReliable, professional, and team-oriented attitudeWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for team members who:Take ownership and initiativeWork well under pressureCommunicate proactivelyBring positive energy to the workplaceAre willing to help wherever neededCare deeply about patient experience and teamworkThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within healthcare operations, patient coordination, and medical administration in a fast-growing organization.Powered by JazzHRprRi0yJHIy
