Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Position Summary:Provides engineering support for functions, including new product introduction, process improvements, cost reduction activities, manufacturing capability improvements andefficiency improvements. Responds to andons and zone control directions.Essential Responsibilities: Develop process drawings and CNC programs using CAD/CAM package.Develop and maintain process design standards.Create and maintain tooling drawings.Create and set-up tooling materials in engineering systems.Support process development and continuous improvement initiatives involving abrasives, tooling, set-up parameters/engineered cycles. Level I problem solving (as applicable to process solutions and suspect material disposition).Andon response and Zone Control/A3 support including report outs and documentation.Dimensional and visual inspection.Support engineering project activities. Basic Qualifications:Associate's degree or above in a technical field.Training in CAD/CAM software. 1 - 5 years Manufacturing experience.18 years of age of older.Must be eligible to work in the US.Preferred Qualifications and Skills: ProE / Creo4 Training in CAD/CAM software. Working understanding of manufacturing specific processes (grind, hard turn, superfinish, heat treat), as well as ability to learn other engineering and manufacturing processes. Experience using, and intermediate skill level in, MS Office software applications (Excel, Word).Demonstrated aptitude in mathematical, mechanical, and analytical applications.Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal mediums and project work documents.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
