PCA Assistant Farm Manager

Job DescriptionA well-known and family-owned Central Valley Farming operation is looking to add a PCA Assistant FarmManager to their team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, highly motivated, detail-oriented and ready to take on this dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities supporting daily farm operations.Key ResponsibilitiesScout fields for pests, disease, and moisture levelsMonitor crop health and irrigation needs (Schedule irrigation)Coordinate fertilizer applications and chemigation schedulesWork with mechanics to identify and order necessary partsCoordinate spray applications and write spray mix recommendationsMaintain accurate records of field activities and applicationsOperate and troubleshoot GPS systems and controllers for tractors and chemical equipmentKey QualificationsPCA license preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work 5-6 days per week during peak seasonsProficient or willing to learn precision agriculture technologyMust currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's licenseThis position offers an opportunity to grow professionally while playing a key role in farm management and crop production.
