Senior Direct Tax Accountant

DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Direct Tax Accountant to join our client's Boston finance team. In this role, you will serve as the primary owner of our US direct tax compliance function and work closely with HQ tax teams to support federal, state, and international tax reporting. This position offers strong visibility and the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives as the company expands globally.Fluency in English/Mandarin is a must.Key Responsibilities- Manage US federal and state income tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.- Coordinate with external tax advisors to oversee preparation and filing of US Federal and State income tax returns.- Support US international tax reporting by gathering financial data from global subsidiaries and assisting HQ tax team with transfer pricing documentation and implementation.- Assist in the income tax provision process and support R& D tax credit studies to ensure accurate financial reporting.- Partner with the finance team on strategic initiatives, providing tax analysis and modeling for business expansion, corporate transactions, and special projects.RequirementsKeys:+ 5+ years of experience public or corporate.+ Public Tax - Big 4 is great.
