There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.How You’ll Make An ImpactThe Manager – Pricing Business Intelligence is a key contributor in the Retail Merchandising space, responsible for delivering pricing intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI-powered tools that enable data-driven pricing decisions across financial planning, allocation, assortment, and other critical business areas. This individual leads a cross-functional team of business owners to develop pricing insights, decision dashboards, and AI capabilities that drive strategic value, while also overseeing forecast accuracy and process optimization to support the broader pricing organization.This role reports to the Director of Pricing and is based in our Atlanta office in our hybrid environment.40%: Pricing Business IntelligencePricing Insights: Develop and maintain recurring pricing intelligence reports that surface actionable insights across channels, categories, and competitive landscape to support leadership decision-makingPricing Decision Dashboard: Build and manage a centralized Pricing Decision Dashboard that visualizes key pricing metrics, margin impact, and competitive positioning in real time to enable data-driven decisionsPricing Elasticity: Conduct pricing elasticity analysis to model how price changes impact demand, margin, and revenue across product categories, informing optimal price point recommendationsPricing Analytics: Leverage advanced analytics to evaluate promotional effectiveness, price gap analysis, markdown cadence, and lifecycle pricing performance across channels and categoriesCompetitive Pricing Intelligence: Monitor external market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and industry benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities and deliver timely intelligence to key stakeholdersPricing Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain scalable data models, reporting pipelines, and self-service analytics tools to support ongoing and ad hoc pricing analysis across the organizationCross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Merchandising, Finance, and Planning teams to translate pricing data into strategic recommendations and embed pricing intelligence into broader business planning processes40%: Forecast Accuracy, Process Optimization, and Change ManagementAnalyze forecast to understand accuracy and accuracy trends, identify areas for improvement and work with forecast implementation team on strategies to increase forecast accuracyRun recurring meetings with key stakeholders to share relevant topics on forecast, understand business needs, and drive toward solutions leveraging the forecastMaintain a structured enhancement roadmap detailing planned improvements, while regularly prioritizing with core stakeholders to support business objectivesMeasure benefit of increased forecast accuracyCollect and communicate strategy shifts that will impact future forecast accuracyLead the process change team as it relates to forecast use cases, define business requirements, work with stakeholders to iterate & evolve process, design & deliver training, and evaluate compliance & impact of changesGet regular qualitative and quantitative feedback on usage of forecast and opportunities from end usersCoordinate development of forecast tools and dashboardsSupport forecast driven decision making20%: Pricing AI DevelopmentLeverage existing internal AI tools to automate repetitive pricing tasks, improving efficiency and freeing the team to focus on higher-value strategic workPilot and create AI agents and skillsets for the Pricing team to leverage, identifying use cases where agentic workflows can accelerate analysis, scenario modeling, and pricing recommendationsCreate and maintain Pricing Chatbots to assist Carter’s Planners and Buyers in making informed pricing decisions, providing on-demand access to pricing data, market context, and recommendation frameworksWe’d Love to hear from you if: (Requirements section)Must Have3-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role (ie; Business Intelligence, Data Science, Retail Analytics, Inventory Planning, Inventory Management & Allocation)Strong Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau skillsExperience with Claude or Gemini experience is a plusHighly organized with a strong attention to detailStrong analytical skills with ability to drive business decisions and actionable resultsStrong communication and presentation skillsNaturally curious, eager to learn, and solution orientedExperience in leading and managing projectsExperience in leading cross functional teamsExperience in business analysis, particularly gathering and translating business requirements into technical specificationsPreferred Skills And ExperienceUser Support and Training: Providing training, and developing user-friendly documentationRetail store experienceMake a Career At Carter’sCareer Development: Success starts from within, and we have several paths from which you can choose to enhance your career evolution.
