This role involves collaborating with leading AC suppliers (e.g., MIDA, Toshiba, Mitsubishi) to build and deploy solutions that enable seamless data exchange between IoT devices and machine learning models.This is a part-time role initially, with a planned transition to full-time as the company scales. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IoT development, API integration, and programming, with a proven track record of working with diverse HVAC systems.Key Responsibilities:1. Device Setup and Integration:- Configure and set up drivers for IoT-enabled HVAC devices.- Integrate devices from various manufacturers (e.g., MIDA, Toshiba, Mitsubishi) into a unified data collection and control framework.2. Data Collection and Management:- Develop solutions to collect and process data from HVAC units.- Ensure data is formatted and prepared for model training and analysis.3. Model Integration and Command Execution:- Collaborate with data science teams to train and deploy machine learning models.- Develop APIs to send commands from the model back to the HVAC devices for optimization.4. API Development and Integration:- Design and implement robust APIs for communication between the IoT devices and backend systems.- Ensure secure and reliable data transfer across systems.5. Collaboration with Manufacturers:- Work closely with HVAC suppliers to ensure compatibility and functionality of solutions.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device communication and data flow.Requirements:1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.2. Experience: Minimum 5 years in IoT engineering, with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.3. Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Python and one or more of C++, C#, or Java.- Experience with API integration and development.- Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP).- Knowledge of working with HVAC systems and manufacturers such as MIDA, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi.- Experience with data collection frameworks and handling structured/unstructured data.4. Soft Skills:- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to manage tasks independently (working directly with the Founder).5.
