This opportunity will be a 10-week, paid internship beginning May 26th, 2026.This internship will be based at our regional office in Chicago, IL.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHWe are currently seeking the best and brightest students for our Audit Department. This internship will allow students to apply their accounting and business skills and gain hands-on work experience. Students will work on critical projects supporting te, and accounting functions across multiple product lines. The internship will provide students with the opportunity to contribute to the audit functions. During the internship, students will be fully functioning team members within the Audit department with responsibility for audit tasks for Amrize.Key Responsibilities:As an Internal Controls Intern, you will be part of the Internal Controls team, working on projects that help ensure the control design and effectiveness of Amrize's key in-scope SOX processesYou will gain hands-on experience in risk management, internal controls over financial reporting and compliance, while contributing to the overall success of the teamPerform control design and implementation activities by obtaining and analyzing control evidence and data and meeting with business teams to obtain current control state informationSupport Internal Controls team with gap analysis and management action plan activities by obtaining and analyzing remediation evidence and data and meeting with business teams to obtain remediation statusAnalyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvementCollaborate with team members to develop recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigationProactively interact with business teams to capture information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvementsInteract and collaborate with Internal Controls team members in working towards departmental goalsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for enthusiastic students who meet the following criteria:Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, graduating in Spring 2027 or Winter 2026Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsInterest and desire to learn about internal controls, audit and risk managementMust be eligible to work in the U.S on a permanent basisSCHEDULE AND ENVIRONMENT* This is an on-site role; the intern will be expected to be on-site Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).* In this internship position, you will be working in Downtown Chicago.* You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.* Throughout the duration of your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.BENEFITS OF OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM* Experience within the building materials industry.* Mentorship and professional development training throughout the summer.* A culture that promotes diversity, teamwork, work/life balance, and recognition.* Learn about the industry from all levels of Amrize management.* Potential opportunity, upon graduation, for full-time employment with a successful, fast-growing company!BUILDING INCLUSIVE WORKSPACESAt Amrize, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
