CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist (1st & 2nd Shift)As a CNC Machinist, you will work in a job-shop style environment operating CNC mills and lathes, primarily using Haas vertical milling centers with Fanuc controls, to produce high-quality components for the automotive and lawn care industries.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes in a job shop environment to produce precision components according to specifications.Operate Haas vertical milling centers using Fanuc controls, ensuring accurate and efficient machining processes.Edit and adjust CNC programs directly at the machine using Fanuc controls and G/M code to improve part quality and cycle times.Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers to determine machining operations, sequences, and tooling requirements.Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation.Collaborate with team members, including programmers and supervisors, to resolve machining issues and optimize production.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and industry safety standards.Support consistent production on assigned shift by meeting quality, efficiency, and delivery expectations.Assist with or perform basic program edits and adjustments in Mastercam when required, in coordination with programming staff.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Lancaster, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
