DescriptionProject Manager IIHybrid - must reside in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Ohio, Georgia, or FloridaYour role in our success will be:This position carries the responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating various projects valued between $10M-40M associated with gas distribution and transmission. Organizes multi-disciplinary teams through project lifecycles consisting of project creation, budgeting, monitoring, and making adjustments when required.What makes us greatAt the heart of our Company is a dedication to delivering energy that drives progress. We put people first, work to keep them safe and build trusting relationships.What youll be working on:Leads and manages project management team; accountable for planning, coordinating, directing and monitoring progress of projects scopes of $10MM - $40MM budgetMonitor progress of project to ensure alignment with established goals and budgets while making adjustments to timelines and resources as necessaryUpdate budgets, forecasts, schedules (Gantt Charts), and status reports on a regular basis showing milestones according to original planEnsures compliance of project and outcome that meets all required safety regulations and requirements of Chesapeake Utilities as well as the Pipeline Health and Safety Administration, OSHA, and other Federal and State requirementsCreates project status presentations consisting of budget forecasts, timelines, and milestones, to business unit leaders on a monthly basis.Assist with selection, review of contractor progressResponsible for exhibiting Chesapeake Utilities Corporation's Mission, Vision and Values, regarding external customers, agencies, vendors, internal departments and coworkers.Leads project meetings to review progress, provide updates and identify risksAble to train/mentor Project Manager IWho you are: Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field (Project Management, Engineering, Construction)Three (3) years' experience with Project Management and/or EngineeringPMP Certification or ability to obtain within 6 monthsValid Driver's License requiredAbility to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutionsAbility to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on a short-term basis.Ability to make decisions which have impact on both the work unit and departmentAbility to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and to verbally communicate technical informationAbility to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, and make presentations outside the immediate work area.Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.What's in it for you?
