Job Title: Material Handler I (Non-Medical)Location: Pflugerville, TX (On-site)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:15 PMPay Rate: $17.00/hour (increase after 90 days)Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (ongoing with potential for permanent placement)Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler I to support warehouse and inventory operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves handling materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting production and distribution processes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their experience in logistics and supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPull and prepare materials using requisitions, stock lists, and pick ticketsVerify kit accuracy using checklists and established proceduresReport material shortages and move completed orders to staging or distribution areasProcess returned materials and resolve inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and data entryPrepare material requests for procurement as neededOperate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment (training provided)Stock, organize, and distribute materials within the warehouse and production linePerform audits and ensure inventory accuracy at all timesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredValid driver's license requiredAbility to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionallyAbility to stand and work on feet for extended periods (8+ hours)Basic math and computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, MRP systems)Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety guidelinesExperience with RF scanners, forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plusWillingness to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification (must pass with 80% or higher)Work Environment & Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, and handling of materialsRepetitive tasks in a fast-paced warehouse settingExposure to mechanical equipment, dust, and varying temperaturesRequires manual dexterity and attention to detailBenefits & PerksWeekly payOptional medical benefitsPaid sick leaveRetirement savings options (where applicable)Opportunity for full-time employment after 90 daysAbout the CompanyOur client is a Fortune 500 global supply chain leader providing innovative logistics and operational solutions to top technology and medical companies worldwide.
