Working alongside the Director of Finance and executive leadership, you'll lead the accounting function while playing a central role in standing up manufacturing accounting within SAP S/4HANA, strengthening internal controls, sharpening our financial processes, and building a high-performing accounting team.Accounting LeadershipLead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entitiesDeliver timely, accurate, and audit-ready financial reportingOversee the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and technical accountingCoordinate external audits and support lender and executive reportingLead, coach, and develop the accounting teamManufacturing & Inventory AccountingDesign and implement manufacturing accounting in SAP S/4HANA — standard costing, WIP, and variance analysisOversee inventory accounting, valuation, reserves, and cost analysisPartner with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, and Supply ChainBuild meaningful cost and variance reporting leadership can act onERP, Process Improvement & Business PartnershipServe as Finance's functional lead for SAP financial and manufacturing processesParticipate in ERP implementation, testing, and process designAutomate accounting work and improve reporting efficiencyPartner with business leaders to support operational decisionsDrive continuous improvement across operations and internal controlsWhat Success Looks LikeTimely, accurate, and audit-ready financial reportingManufacturing accounting processes successfully implemented within SAPScalable accounting processes that support business growthImproved accounting efficiency through automation and process improvementsA collaborative, high-performing accounting teamBase Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually, commensurate with experience and 's degree in accounting7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including meaningful experience in a manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing financial reportingExperience leading month-end close and financial reportingExperience managing or mentoring accounting staffStrong understanding of GAAP and internal controlsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsNice-to-HavesCPAExperience participating in ERP implementations within a manufacturing environmentSAP S/4HANA experienceMulti-entity accounting experienceDistribution and omnichannel business experienceExperience supporting a manufacturing start-up or business transformation initiative
