Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU (Maternal Child Health)Location: Ithaca, NYDuration: 13 WeeksShift Details:Night Shift3 Shifts per Week12 Hours per ShiftJob Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care within the Maternal Child Health/NICU department. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to neonates and maternal patients while collaborating closely with unit leadership and interdisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care to neonates and maternal patientsPerform patient assessment, data collection, and care planningImplement and evaluate patient care plans addressing physical, emotional, and developmental needsMonitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changesEducate patients and families on care plans and health needsCollaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of careAdhere to standards set by relevant nursing and maternal-child health governing bodiesRequirements:Associate Degree in Nursing (AAS) requiredActive New York State RN License requiredBLS certification required upon hireACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hireExperience in Maternal Child Health or NICU preferredKnowledge of postpartum care preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform repetitive hand movements (e.g., computer use)Ability to lift and assist patients as neededAbility to stand, walk, or sit for extended periodsMust be able to operate clinical equipment as requiredAdditional Information:Strong communication and teamwork skills requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentCommitment to patient-centered care and safetyFor more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.comor Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807.
