Gift Shop Attendant
DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Assist Guests in the selection of gift items and Castle Club redemption items.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:Operate the cash register and make correct change. Balance cash draw at the close of shift.Open and close the Gift Shop according to posted times.Maintain the Gift Shop in an orderly manner, ensuring counters, cabinets and merchandise are kept neat, organized, clean, and stocked.Maintain knowledge of Gift Shop merchandise and inventory.Ensure proper inventory control, by maintaining accurate records of merchandise sold or damaged.Assist with the monthly inventory process.Display merchandise in a manner that will draw traffic and promote sales. Maintain a good working knowledge of both company-wide and departmental policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSOpportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation. Basic math skills.Effective communication (verbal) skills.Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: N/AMust be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment.
