Personal Banker - EdwardsThe Personal Banker is responsible for generating business and deepening relationships by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while achieving sales goals and supporting banking center staff as needed.Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environmentProvide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as neededBuild and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needsPromote financial products and servicesOpen deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customersProcess customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and proceduresGenerate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of InfluenceRespond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutionsSupport other employees as neededRequired Skills:Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goalsMinimum of 6 months of cash handling experience in a retail sales environmentAbility to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businessesAbility to work effectively as a team member and with customers.Strong work ethic and high integrityProficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personalityMust have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank's expensePreferred Skills:Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank services and products.Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skillsSalary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Compensation is aligned to experience and skills. Benefits: The bank offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; and 401(K) plan.
