This role is ideal for a dynamic HR professional who is passionate about supporting employees, driving organizational success, and making a meaningful impact within a close-knit community.The HR & Payroll Manager serves as a key member of the leadership team, functioning as a Human Resources generalist responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of HR functions. This role works closely with the Executive Director and EveryAge Chief Human Resources Officer to support strategic decision-making related to policies, procedures, and employee relations, while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.Some of the things you will do:Maintain current knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure organizational complianceProvide guidance to the Executive Director, managers, and supervisors on employment practices, policies, and employee relations mattersOversee HRIS administration and ensure payroll accuracy and timely processingAdminister employee benefit programs, including eligibility determination, enrollment, and communication of benefit offeringsRepresent the organization in unemployment claim proceedingsCollaborate with leadership on the annual wage administration programMaintain accurate, confidential personnel records and ensure compliance with documentation standardsPartner with department managers to support HR-related needs and enhance team effectivenessLead recruitment efforts, including applicant screening, interviewing, and onboardingFacilitate new employee orientations and ongoing education regarding policies, procedures, and benefitsPrepare and maintain required personnel reports (e.g., turnover, overtime, applicant tracking, service milestones)Identify and address inconsistencies in personnel practices, advising leadership as neededManage workers’ compensation claims, employee incident reporting, and OSHA recordkeepingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years of human resources experienceExperience working with an elderly population or within a PACE environment preferredStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentialityProfessional Certification is not required, but certainly valued
