At Avenues Home Care of Tennessee, our caregivers are our front line and most common representative. As a Home Health Aide - HHA, you will be caring for the elderly, vulnerable, disabled and most often those that cannot care for themselves. You are required to keep the client’s needs above all else and perform the following duties with the utmost care. Our office in Knoxville provides caregivers for the area including Savannah, Bearden, Kingsley Station, Halls, Farragut, and many others.Home Health Aide - HHA Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as specified in the client’s plan of care created during in-take. Those activities may include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, other personal hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating and continence care.Assist with medication assistance, housekeeping services, laundry, meal preparation, feeding, shopping, transportation to and from appointments and companionship.Other household tasks as specified in the client’s plan of careTo report daily activity to your supervisor through the agency management system and daily activity logs.
