Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant / ReceptionistLocation: Studio AllegroSchedule:Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PMSaturday: 9:15 AM – 11:30 AMCompany Description:Studio Allegro School of Ballet is dedicated to nurturing students in the art of dance, offering training for those pursuing professional careers, college-level programs, or personal enjoyment in ballet. The school provides a creative movement program that combines stories, music, and imagination to create an engaging learning environment for young dancers. Operating on a 38-week academic schedule from September to June, the program culminates in a student concert. Additional Summer Intensives are held in July and August to further enrich the training experience.Position Overview:Studio Allegro is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families and children in a fast-paced, creative environment and can help keep daily operations running smoothly during peak class hours.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a warm and professional mannerManage front desk operations during class hoursAnswer phone calls, emails, and general inquiriesAssist with student check-in and attendance trackingSupport registration and account questions using the studio management systemMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby areaCommunicate important studio information to families as neededAssist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and light data entrySupport studio events, performances, and special programs as neededQualifications:Strong communication and customer service skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to multitaskComfortable using computers and learning new software systemsReliable and punctualFriendly, positive, and professional demeanorExperience in administrative or customer-facing roles preferredInterest in dance or arts education is a plus, but not requiredSchedule & Commitment:Position runs September through June (aligned with the academic year)Potential opportunity for additional hours during summer programsCompensation:Hourly rate based on experienceHow to Apply:Please submit a brief introduction, along with your resume and references.
