($1036.60 wkly)Fleet Maintenance Which Includes, But Is Not Limited ToRemove and install engines, rears, transmissions, and clutches; repair and adjust brakesRepair or replace wiring, distributors and generators; repair and align front end assemblies; replace radiators and springs; and tune up enginesMounts and dismounts tires, tire chains; repair and diagnose ignition systemUse of various hand and power tools, including precision gauges, electrical instruments and computers for use of updating equipment and receiving email, etc.Assist Equipment Mechanic and/or Working ForemanDiagnose road breakdowns and make necessary repairsPerform road service as requiredPerform state safety and emission inspectionsPerform preventive maintenance inspectionsAnswering calls when necessaryQualificationsOther related duties and functions as assignedHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent, valid driver's license with "clean" record requiredPA State Emission and Inspection licenses are requiredMust be able to acquire a Class A Commercial’s Driver’s License within six (6) months of hireCommercial drivers must meet medical standards established by Federal and State RegulationsAutomotive AAS degree or have graduated from voc/tech automotive program a plusExperience with medium to heavy duty trucks, van engines, diesels preferredMust pass company entry-level test The Auto Mechanic is a full-time, union position working in all weather conditions with rotational shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays.
