Senior Associate Attorney

Professionals joining the firm can expect a collegial environment with diverse casework and opportunities for meaningful client impact.Role Description The Senior Associate Attorney will manage a substantial caseload, providing legal counsel and representation to clients in areas such as estate planning, corporate transactions, real estate, business transactions, and civil litigation as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents, negotiating on behalf of clients, and appearing in court and administrative proceedings. The role also involves collaborating closely with partners and staff, participating in case strategy, maintaining clear and timely client communication, and supporting business development efforts as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE, with regular in-person client meetings and court appearances.Qualifications Strong foundation in Law with experience handling matters such as estate planning, real estate, business law, or litigation.Demonstrated experience in Labor and Employment Law or related workplace matters, including advising on policies and dispute resolution.Proven ability to provide practical Legal Advice to individuals and businesses, with clear, client-centered communication.Advanced Research skills, including case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources to support complex legal analysis.Effective Negotiation skills for settlements, contracts, and dispute resolution, with a focus on achieving favorable and ethical outcomes.Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license in good standing with the Nebraska bar (Iowa admission or willingness to obtain is a plus).5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm setting with direct client responsibility.Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small, team-oriented firm.Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and respectful, inclusive client service.
