Yard Jockey Needed!1st Shift: 5:30AM-4:00PMPay: $25-26/hrJob DescriptionThe yard jockey will operate forklifts to move steel, stage materials for welders, and support daily yard and shop operations in a small structural fabrication environment. This hands-on, non-stationary role includes assisting with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, preparing materials for shipment, and performing light fabrication tasks as needed. The position works closely with welders and fabricators to keep production flowing and requires strong safety awareness and a willingness to help wherever needed throughout the yard and shop. The position is hands-on and non-stationary, requiring frequent movement throughout the yard and shop and regular work around steel, heavy materials, forklifts, cranes, and fabrication equipment such as a CNC plasma table and horizontal saw.
