SVP of Investments – Student Housing (United States)A global real estate investment platform is seeking a SVP of Investments to lead acquisitions and strategic growth across its U.S. student housing portfolio (8,000+ beds).This role will lead the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of investment opportunities across key university markets while helping shape the long-term growth strategy of the platform.Working closely with senior leadership across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, the successful candidate will play a central role in expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital initiatives.The RoleLead origination and execution of student housing acquisitions across the United StatesDevelop relationships with brokers, developers, operators, and capital partnersManage financial underwriting, due diligence, and transaction structuringLead internal investment committee processes and approvalsWork alongside asset management to optimize portfolio performance and exitsSupport capital strategies including partnerships, funds, and recapitalization initiativesThe Candidate15+ years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, or institutional capitalDemonstrated track record executing complex real estate transactions in the U.S.Experience within student housing or comparable living sectors (multifamily, BTR, etc.)Strong financial modelling and capital markets expertiseProven leadership capability and experience operating in a global environmentThis is an opportunity to play a leadership role in scaling a U.S. investment platform within the high-growth student housing sector.To apply for the role, please follow the Linkedin application process or reach out to Chris Smith at Chris.Smith@Redpathpartners.com
