RN - Interventional Radiology Per Diem Days Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Southeast regional United States as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. This part-time, day-shift role involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies and standards. Key Responsibilities Assess patients to identify care needs and organize appropriate interventions. Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring a safe environment. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, maintaining accurate and relevant patient records. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and respond promptly to life-threatening situations. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to monitor and improve quality of care. Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging. Adapt care to meet age-specific physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Support patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical guidelines. Education and Experience Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the Southeast region. Experience in Interventional Radiology or Operating Room settings is essential. Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Effective organizational and leadership capabilities. Knowledge of developmental and spiritual needs of diverse patient populations. Physical Requirements Good speech and auditory acuity for patient communication. Visual acuity for patient observation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently.
