Title: Software Developer-Applications Location: Hybrid (must reside within 120 miles of Charlottesville, VA) Clearance: TS(SCI Eligible) Overview: Rackner is working with the Army Military Intelligence (MI) program to support the overall strategy and migration to evaluate and potentially re-invent how Army MI delivers IT services and the use of Intelligence data and analytics to meet mission requirements. Position Overview/Responsibilities: Plan and develop specialized applications software Oversee software programming and testing software for completion Lay out software design and build out models and/or diagrams Create and map out any future software upgrades Technical Expertise: Software application development Programmimg languages such as: golang, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, C, C++, C#, XML, JSON, or YAML Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, network technologies Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree Minimum 6 years' experience developing software applications Minimum 3 years' software development experience with programming languages listed Active TS clearance (SCI eligibility) May require DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications, IAT Level II baseline certifications (site specific) May require Security + and AWS certification (site specific) Who We Are: Rackner is a software consultancy that builds cloud-native solutions for startups, enterprises, and the public sector.
