This role emphasizes patient and employee safety, ensuring a focus on a safe work environment while delivering superior quality care.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAssess patients' levels of functioning and plan appropriate treatment based on assessment outcomes.\nParticipate in interdisciplinary team processes and discharge planning.\nComplete necessary documentation in accordance with department policies.\nSupervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and therapy students.\nDemonstrate effective communication with patients and families, ensuring understanding and engagement.\nInstill confidence in team members, patients, and families through effective collaboration and support.\nMaintain flexibility in patient scheduling and contribute to team conferences.\nDocument discharge plans and provide education on adaptive equipment to patients and families.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nMust hold a valid, current state license for Occupational Therapy.\nBLS certification required.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in inpatient rehab or neuro settings.\n\n\nSchedule\nThis is a day shift position with a 5x8.0 schedule.\n\nAssignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
