Seasonal Laborer-Container Unloader

Job DescriptionIMKO Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Seasonal General Laborers to help support a warehouse located in Columbia by unloading shipping containers. This is a temporary assignment beginning May 15th and lasting 1 to 2 weeks based on client needs.Pay: $17.25/hrSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pmLength of Assignment: 1 to 2 weeksJob Duties:-Assist with unloading product from shipping containers-Inspect shipments for visible damage and verify quantities against packing lists-Maintain accurate counts and communicate discrepancies with manager-Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after container unloading-Assist with general warehouse duties as assignedRequired Skills:-Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment-Strong attention to detail-Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team-Ability to work safely and follow safety protocolsRequired Experience:-Must be at least 18 years of age-Must be able to carry, pull, and/or lift up to 70 pounds-Must be able to crouch, grasp, pull, kneel, stoop, and walk to perform certain job functions-Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours-Previous warehouse or manual labor experience preferred. -Forklift or rider pallet jack experience desirable, but not required-MUST have reliable transportationWeekly Pay#INDJEFFMeet Your Recruiter
