Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly - 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) - $21.00/hour + $1.00 shift premiumWho we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I – 2nd Shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) to be based out of Pueblo, Colorado. Reporting to Manufacturing Supervisor, the Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I will be responsible for the quality and accurate production of specialty fittings and custom assembly parts.What you’ll do: Fittings Specialty Parts/Assembly I’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Confirm product with schedule and locate appropriate inventoryRemove cured fittings from oven and extract from the mandrelCut each fitting per each respective drawing and finish the ends, including adding tri-seals, O-rings, etc. when necessaryAffix all appropriate labels, pack the finished product, and place in the inventory locationPerform Final Inspection both dimensional and visual per standardsMaintain work-in-process area for fittings being sent to the machine shopKeep accurate production records including quantity finished, packaged, and scrappedInspect - by verifying saw cuts; product color; length; order quantity; and presence of dry fibers, flaws, and variancesResponsible for housekeeping in assigned areaPerform any other tasks appointed by managementWhat you’ll bring: Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalentTwo year’s previous shop experience is preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsGood understanding of math skills required for quick and accurate counting, calculations and measurements including radius, inside and outside diameter, and lengthAttention to detail, accuracy, time management and organizationMust be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical mannerMust be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environmentAble to lift 50 pounds unassistedWithin 3 months, you’ll: Know and follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and high-vis clothing, and gloves, etc.Fitt)Zero safety incidents in past 90 days of evaluation dateLess than 15 attendance points on the date of evaluationNo documented warnings within 90 days of probationary periodWho we are: Atkore is a five-time Great Place to Work© certified company and a three-time Top Workplaces USA award winner! Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
