Labor Compliance Specialist - Construction

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYAlliance Resource Group has partnered with a growing construction subcontractor supporting projects across oil & gas, transportation, government, and commercial infrastructure.Our client is looking to add a full-time Labor Compliance Specialist to help in earning revenue on their government contracts. Open to training someone with limited experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESComplete Labor Compliance Documents for Prevailing Wage projectsSubmission of weekly Certified Payroll reports on LCP tracker, DIRProvide supporting records (statements of compliance, fringe benefit statements, payroll deductions, apprentice registration, etc.) to general contractors.Gather, review and input employee pay and project hours data.Interact via verbal and/or correspondence with general contractors to satisfy labor compliance requirements.Maintain all Labor Compliance and Certified Payroll documents throughout the project in a timely and efficient manner.Respond / Resolve discrepancies related to submission audits from LCP Tracker, DIR, etcREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS1- 3 years+ of experience in compliance/ payroll/ accountingExperience with prevailing wage and certified payroll a plusStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, mainly Excel.Construction experience a plus
