Apigee/API DeveloperJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer/Engineer to support API Management and Integration initiatives for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Apigee API Management, API security, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration, along with hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable API solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, deploy, and manage API proxies using Apigee Edge, Apigee X, or Apigee Hybrid.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate enterprise applications through secure API frameworks.Implement API security policies including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, SSL/TLS, authentication, and authorization.Configure traffic management, rate limiting, caching, threat protection, and API governance policies.Monitor API performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize API response times.Integrate APIs with backend systems, microservices, and cloud-based applications.Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for API deployment and release management.Utilize Apigee Analytics and monitoring tools to track API health and usage metrics.Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable API solutions.Provide production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for mission-critical APIs.
