The role:We are looking for strong additions to advocate and provide excellent customer service to our clients, which may at times include de-escalating or comforting clients in crisis. The role requires a proactive individual who is proficient in managing a variety of tasks related to the cases assigned.Primary functions of your caseload require: ability to comprehend complex legal concepts and convey them clearly to clients, providing excellent customer service which may include de-escalating or comforting clients in crisis, engage in pre-litigation settlements to receive a favorable outcome for our clients, excellent time-management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, update attorneys and other parties when neccessary, and enhance team knowledge as well as your own personal/professional skill set.Experience in pre-litigation settlements or other settling/negotiating experience is strongly preferred. While we assist our clients through a variety of channels, we do encounter settlements frequently. Responsibilities:Handle client inquiries and correspondence with compassion, accuracy, and confidentialityCommunicate effectively to a variety of parties: including but not limited to clients, opposing counsel, co-workers, attorneys, and other external partiesSettle and negotiate accounts to receive a favorable outcome for our clientsAbility to comprehend complex legal concepts and convey them clearly to clientsConduct legal research using various resources to gather relevant information for drafting argumentsTime-management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyShare relavent findings to increase team knowledgeMaintain professional relationships with clients and coworkersReview and organize all correspondence and documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and legal guidelinesMaintain and update legal databases, tracking systems, and document repositories, ensuring easy retrieval and accurate recordkeepingAssist in conducting due diligence reviews and compliance checks to ensure legal and regulatory requirements are constantly metCommunicate updates to attorneys proactively and as neededAttend relevant training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skillsPerforms other duties as assigned to support departmental needs and objectivesMinimum Requirements:Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a firm requiredEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies or similar, Paralegal Certification; or an equivalent mix of education and experienceConcise and empathetic communicator with customer service skillsUphold the highest standards of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentialityAbility to work independently while adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivityParticipate in fostering a positive and cooperative work environmentAbility to comprehend complex legal concepts and convey them clearly to clientsAbility to concentrate for extended periods of timeQualifications that Predict SuccessAbility to juggle priorities within tight time constraintsAdaptable and comfortable with a level of change as a growing companyStrong understanding of legal concepts, procedures, and terminologyFamiliarity with legal research methods and resourcesAttention to detail to maintain accurate client recordsStrong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyCompensation: Salary range of 50,000 – $65,000 dependent on experience.How to Apply: To apply for this position, please submit your resume and a member of our team will reach out to you.
