Our client, a fast-growing AI B2B startup, is hiring a Chief of Staff with 5–7 years of experience to act as a direct partner to the co-founder. This person will be a mini-me to the co-founder, taking on significant responsibilities to free up his time to focus on new business horizons.You'll be instrumental in building the operational backbone of the commercial organization and scaling the company's three core business lines: standards, auditing, and insurance. The company needs a strategic operator who can quickly get up to speed and begin making decisions on behalf of the founders within the first 90 days.What you'll doBuild the operational backbone of the commercial organization by improving communication, decision-making processes, and information disseminationRepresent the co-founder in over half of his meetings, including sales conversations and internal decision-making sessions, within the first 90 daysLead strategic projects, such as identifying and onboarding new partners and selecting strategic vendorsBuild repeatable systems for sales collateral, pipeline tracking, hiring processes, and decision frameworksDrive the go-to-market strategy, particularly for the partner-led sales motion with auditors, and eventually take ownership of the revenue organizationRequirements5–7 years of experience across MBB consulting and a high-growth startupStarted career at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG with a fast trajectory (promotions in under 1.5 years) - THIS IS REQUIREDStartup experience anywhere from Seed to Series CHigh-performer generalist with proven ability to wear multiple hatsExperience working with very senior stakeholders (Fortune 500 CEOs)Track record managing a small team and influencing a broader group to deliver business outcomesExceptional communication and executive presence — able to win over CEOs and engineers alikeRelocation support
